Thanksgiving Day With The Cousins

We spent Thanksgiving Day at Nana's house. Nathan enjoyed hanging out with his older cousins. They are really good with him and spent a lot of time playing with him.



Nathan helped Daniel play video games by sitting on his lap and cheering him on.

Two Years Ago Today...

Nathan was placed in our arms and our greatest adventure began!





We went out today for a little celebration. We took Nathan to North Pole City to ride the little train since he is REALLY into trains right now. Unfortunately the little train wasn't running but he enjoyed looking at all the little villages.
We got him some little Thomas Train toys as a present and we all had a great day.

Sometimes I can't believe so much time has passed and other times I can't remember what it was like to not have this noisy bundle of energy running through the house. Here are some pictures from our first couple of hours together...

Nathan's First Camping Trip!

This is my Happy Camper on his first camping trip.

We went with our friends Vickey and Gerald


We went to Robber's Cave State Park which is in Eastern Oklahoma. The weather was so beautiful!

We slept in the van in sleeping bags with Nathan. That was the least favorite part of the trip since Nathan didn't quite understand. He wanted to go outside and play. He had to learn "It's dark outside". The minute the sun started peeking through the trees he sat up excitedly and yelled, "OUTSIDE!" Of course there were rocks and sticks everywhere to be thrown so he was in heaven.

Vickey has Shelties also. Her boys always go camping with them.

Off to Robber's Cave! This was a hideout for bandits back in the shoot-em-up days.
