Today we have had our ups and downs but things are going very well so far. Jianna is very happy to get up, get dressed and to go to breakfast. She likes going out on the town but still likes coming back to the hotel. She's been sad a few times and has been angry at a couple but, for the most part, she has been very pleasant with us today. She wants us all to stay together like she thinks we are going to get lost if she can't see us all at the same time.
She has started to move around like a relaxed child and has been bouncing and skipping a couple of times. She likes to play by herself with her toys and has started singing and talking to them. It's so adorable. She is a bit self-conscious with us but sometimes she invites us to join in a bit.
Today we toured Chongqing. It is such an amazing city. It was very foggy so we couldn't see the river very well but the people and boats and vehicles moving on both sides of the river are amazing. We had another terrific lunch. (Chongqing has the best food!) This will be our last day here and tomorrow we fly to Guangzhou.
Tonight we are all hanging out watching 101 Dalmations. Pei-Pei is mad at me again and is missing her nannies. I let her know that I will always be here for her and she nodded but pushed me away as if to tell me that she just needs her space. She's a resilient little girl.
Nathan continues to be homesick. Tonight he is missing "the puma under the bed" which is our cat Flash who hides under my bed and swipes at his feet when he goes by. He is enjoying playing Angry Birds whenever we are in the room. I'm so thankful to have him here with us.
Tomorrow Pei-Pei takes her first plane ride!
